Initial Comment:
When connecting to an OpenSSH_4.4p1 server using SFTP and password authentication, setting CURLOPT_SSH_AUTH_TYPES to CURLSSH_AUTH_PASSWORD doesn't work. It it necessary to set it to CURLSSH_AUTH_KEYBOARD.

Is this with libcurl 7.17.0 and libssh2 0.17? If so, can you please try a
recent libssh2 snapshot and see if the problem remains?

If it does, can you please provide a sample source code that shows an
application that gets this problem?
