Summary: Formatting cookie files
Initial Comment:
To whom it may concern:
This is from your documentation ...
Curl has the ability to read and write cookie files that
use the same file
format that Netscape and Mozilla do. It is a convenient
way to share cookies
between browsers and automatic scripts. The -b switch
automatically detects
if a given file is such a cookie file and parses it, and by
using the
-c/--cookie-jar option you'll make curl write a new
cookie file at the end of
an operation:
But what, if the cookie sended by the server does not
match this specifications ? For example, a server login
process writes and reads a cookie file three times. The
cookie file containts somehow session authentication
data (www.openbc.com).
I wish, there is a switch to set/avoid cookie
transformation in the future.
Thank a lot.
