Require info on CURLOPT_INTERFACE.

Hi,
Require info on CURLOPT_INTERFACE, does libcurl choose appropriate ip
address (ipv4 or ipv6) from an eth interface depending on destination? this
is not clear from documentation

has to use appropriate ip address in open socket callback function ?
