What are these used for?
I assume if you compile with MSVC, that you've added '-EHsc'
to your CFLAGS (otherwise the 'throw' isn't safe).

And BTW, your example works fine for me. Can you show some
callstack? E.g. "cdb -c g share-lock-example.exe".
