I can try to help you if you have specific questions, as I'm the former
OS400 version maintainer. However, I do not have access to an iSeries
anymore so this will only be advisory. Did you read
https://github.com/curl/curl/blob/master/packages/OS400/README.OS400 ?

Please also note we are seeking for a new OS/400 maintainer and specific
code has not been updated for one year now.
