Visual Studio compiler warning 'Conditional expression is constant'

There are a number of places in the curl source that cause Visual Studio
compiler "warning C4127: conditional expression is constant" and some
are not easily solved. We are thinking of disabling the warning
globally. Is there anyone who contributes to the project that thinks
this warning is useful and should remain on?
