I wasn't able to reproduce this. Both ftps:// and --ftp-ssl ftp://
worked fine and show * SSL re-using session ID. In FileZilla I have the
session resumption requirement enabled along with the other security
options. What is the command line you are running, and can you show your
curl -V?
