I updated to a more recent libcurl, and now one of my older build machines
will not compile it:

buildconf: running autoconf
configure.ac:1456: error: possibly undefined macro: PKG_CONFIG_LIBDIR
       If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
       See the Autoconf documentation.
buildconf: autoconf command failed

Any idea the most appropriate fix for this?
