That's a statement bordering to insulting and it is not helping. libcurl has a
(mostly working) SMTP protocol implementation.

It probably has bugs we should fix. It can probably be improved to make it
more usable and I'll welcome work on that. But in the end it might of course
not be the right choice for you.

It still is an SMTP protocol implementation that can send email and has done
so for many users.
