Thanks a lot Alessandro for pushing forward in spite of too much silence from
me. I am personally very interested in seeing this feature merged, and I both
hope and beleive I'm not alone. I just haven't had enough time/energy to
review/merge it yet.

As we're in the feature freeze period now until Dec 29th and we have an
unusually large amount of open bugs, I feel that my attention should be spent
on putting out fires and polishing rough corners for now. But I fully intend
to get back on this after Dec 29.

Me working on bugs for now should of course not hinder anyone interested in
OCSP stapling from trying, reviewing, improving and commenting on your work so
that it'll get a chance to get even better by the time the window opens for
merge again.
