point if we deem that necessary):

  - today

    [ open for merging features ]

  - Feb 26: feature freeze for 7.36.0

    [ bugfix-only period ]

  - Mar 26: 7.36.0 release

    [ open for merging features ]

  - April 23: feature freeze

    [ bugfix-only period ]

  - May 21: curl release (probably called 7.37.0)
