can you take a look at this Netware build problem:

It seems to be due to the building of vtls/openssl.c which tries to generate
an object file in release/vtls/openssl.o which makes clang say:

  Fatal error: can't create release/vtls/openssl.o: No such file or directory
  clang: error: assembler (via gcc) command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to
  see invocation)

Some additional magic is needed somewhere in there to make this fly!
