The good news is... The auto builds are looking a lot healthier.

The bad news is... The Solaris and IRIX builds are complaining about an open
handle in connect.c:1263 when connecting to a non-listening socket:

I've had a stab at looking at this, this morning, but I'm running under
Windows and don't seem to get the problem - my FD gets closed in trynextip()
as expected.
