Does LDAP support non-blocking curl_multi interface?

Hi,
Does LDAP support non-blocking curl_multi interface with the old
implementation (ldap.c, not new openldap.c)?
I see ldap.c uses blocking ldap APIs, such as,
ldap_init, ldap_simple_bind_s, and ldap_search_s, so I doubt it cannot
support curl_multi_socket for non-blocking call.
Does the openldap.c support curl_multi well?
