Dan Fandrich, I tested the following instructions 30 minutes ago on Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.XX and the tests are still running. Thank you.
> tar xzf curl-7.28.1.tar.gz
> cd curl-7.28.1
> ./configure
> make
> make test
