We do bug fixes all the time. Of course a minor version update can fix
problems.

I don't see the point in spending a lot of time trying to figure out how the
bug was fixed, sorry. I suggest you instead diff the code and see if you're
really interested.

I can't recall exactly when we did the IPv6 fixes for c-ares in libcurl, but
it feels like they might be related to this.
