I'm trying to figure out the reason of the git clone failure over
https and proxy
It seems that the Git is using libcurl3-gnutls and the problem is
related to the library.

Is it possible that libcurl do not wait till secure connection is established?

My libcurl is libcurl3-gnutls 7.21.6-3ubuntu3 (comes with Ubuntu 11.10)
Any suggestions? Is this a known issue? If not, how can I debug it?
