Indeed, I successfully compiled Libcurl downloaded directly from the
Libcurl site using the following commands:

# CC=bfin-linux-uclibc-gcc ./configure --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu
--host=bfin-linux-uclibc

# make
==========

I'm still struggling to compile the application that relies on
Libcurl, but it's a different thread for a different forum :-)
