I'm trying to compile curl 7.21.1 in 2.6.32.21 x86 generic linux

I've gotten configure to see openssl but I want it to use openssh rather
than libssh2.

Is libssh2 a requirement in 7.21.1 and if so, is there an earlier version
that will use openSSH?

I'm compiling against openssh-5.5p1 , openssl-0.9.8o/
