Configure failed on Solaris9 (2 different boxes) with the following
message:

checking for CRYPTO_lock in -lcrypto... yes

checking for SSL_connect in -lssl... no

checking for ssl with RSAglue/rsaref libs in use... checking for
SSL_connect in -lssl... (cached) no

no

configure: error: OpenSSL libs and/or directories were not found where
specified!

/export/home/users/sambuild/curl-7.20.1>

$ ./configure CC=cc CFLAGS=-xarch=generic64 --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl_64

h-libssh2=//export/home/users/sambuild/ssh2

Solaris OS:

Generic_122300-32 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1000

Please notice the following:

1) Curl-7.16.1 was successfully built with the same OpenSSL
installation on the same boxes (OpenSSL version 0.9.8e)

2) Linssh2 was successfully built with the same OpenSSL
installation on Solaris 9 boxes

3) Curl-7.20.1 was successfully built with the same version of
OpenSSL on Solaris10
