curl-library
curl-config --libs linker flags

Hi,
Recently a bug was opened in the Debian. The issue is that the 7.20.1
broke some of the other packages which used curl-config --libs. I
would like to get some comments from the curl developers and how to
resolve this problem. The bug report is shown below.

This is breaking at least collectd (see #578819) and claws-mail-extra-plugins.
Raising the severity to prevent accidental testing transition until the
maintainer comments.
