I have a user who has Windows 2000 and says they're getting a Win32 error
message when running my program, that says "freeaddrinfo not found in
ws2_32.dll".

Unfortunately I don't have a Windows 2000 box to test this on. I just want
to verify that libcurl runs on Windows 2000 properly? The problem is
either with libcurl or GTK+ so I'm just trying to figure out which one it
is.

Note that I found the following MSDN page:

Under "Remarks" it says "The freeaddrinfo function was added to the
Ws2_32.dll on Windows XP and later. To execute an application using this
function on earlier versions of Windows (Windows 2000, Windows NT, and
Windows Me/98/95), then you must include the Ws2tcpip.h file and also
include the Wspiapi.h file."
