first, here's my prayer that neither me nor GMail screw up this post.
I don't usually post to mailing lists. Amen.

That being said, here's an improved version of my earlier patch:

- cleaned up the tabs vs. spaces mess
- improved /* comments */
- added --ftp-pret to the curl tool
- added entries for the new CURLOPT and CURLE defines and --ftp-pret
to the doc files

I looked into the tests directory and tried to figure out what's going
on there, but it seems pretty weird... I was able to run through all
the existing tests (with my patch applied), but I haven't yet gotten
around to actually read FILEFORMAT and write a new test case.
