You didn't tell us:

  1 - libcurl version
  2 - operating system
  3 - libssh2 version
  4 - what URL you used
  5 - what this was expected to do in the first place
  6 - which ssh server this is talking to (possibly on what OS too)

Which would only allow us to make wild guesses and assumptions. But I fear
that wouldn't be very constructive.
