the security modules, both NTLM 1 and Kerberos 4 are outdated. Microsof does not support NTLM1 any more. Kerberos 4 is using DES, which is considered as not secure.

Yes, I think some people had such plans when they introduced Kerberos 5
support to libcurl.

Is the current support somehow not good enough? (I know very little Kerberos
myself.)
