As long as the only differences in generated curlbuild.h are due to
32/64 bitness this is a safe and sound approach. Good.

Mac OS X newbies would surely much appreciate some indications in
docs/INSTALL relative to the Mac OS X platform. Could you perhaps do
something about this in a future, when time allows you to do so?
