That seems to be a different problem then the one I was referring to.
I was concerned with having both ENABLE and DISABLE variant for the same
option. On the other hand having only one or both of them is orthogonal
(in my opinion) to the default setting.

I understand your arguments about some people (and tools) being
accustomed to Linux style so having both ENABLE_X and DISABLE_X make sense.
Having decided to have both we should stick to it and do not complicate
things further by taking into account the default setting.
