RE: How do I deal with error code 27?

Doesn't surprise me that we are using an "ancient" version, seems to be
the golden rule with this legacy code :)

I have actually found the problem though. The class was originally setup
for using non ssl initialization but is now being used for a https
webservice. Having found that and added the ssl initialization the
problem has gone away.

We will soon be migrating to a newer version of this o/s which comes
with newer libraries.

Thanks for the reply.

That is an *ancient* version. That being said, can you be more
specific? What call is returning the error? What protocol are you
using? Can you paste in some code that exhibits the problem?
