The php binding
I am also doing a custom header which might explain the issue:
   curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERPWD, "$username:$password");
   curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPAUTH,CURLAUTH_BASIC);

curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CUSTOMREQUEST, "$method");

else
$header[]="Depth: 0";
$header[]= "Translate: f";
$header[]= "Content-Type: text/xml";
curl_setopt( $ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, $header );
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $query);

Does this override the previous auth?
if so how should I include this or would you prefer I sent this message to
curl-php?
