Hi to all

Initial support of --enable-optimize is now in CVS.

Initially runtests.pl has not been modified, so autobuilds will
exhibit the behaviour that a normal configure run would achieve for
any user.

This option is internally compiler dependant, initially support has
only been committed for some of the compilers currently used for
autobuilds. Others will follow soonish.

As already sketched in other thread this option works as indicated in

If something looks strange or needs to be adjusted or whatever, just speak up.

In any case work on this is not complete yet.
