I am aware of the fact that I tend to shoot down some new ideas a bit too
quickly. So this time I've truly allowed this MIME suggestion bounce around in
my head for a couple of days, but no matter how I turn and in what manner I
read the suggestion, I see a lot of code added with very little gain for the
majority of libcurl users.

At the same time, I can see how most of this can be done pretty similarly with
little loss at a layer outside of libcurl.

So if there's no additional pros or people standing up for the greatness of
this idea, I'm sorry to say that I'm against it. (Sorry for the time and
effort you obviously already spent on this.)
