POST does not use reuse socket / No keepAlive when using POST

hi All,
i am using libcurl and the POSTFIELDS option.
I used a tunnel to check the datatransfer and noticed that keepalive is not used (1 new socket is created for every POST).
if i change to POSTFIELDS to HTTPGET everything else the same sockets are reused (multiple GET on same socket).
what am i doing wrong ?
