That is still a true statement describing the current lack of NTLMv2 support.

The v2 seems to be fairly well research as well in Eric Glass' wonderfully
detailed document: http://davenport.sourceforge.net/ntlm.html

I don't know of anyone working on this, so you won't risk stepping on anyone's
toes when you start on this! ;-)
