Right - a while ago I tried to figure out why 1001 failed on Tru64.
Initially I couldn't reproduce it in my local build, until I started
to run certain tests together (as in ./runtests.pl n n+1 n+2 n+3..)
It was clear that the problem was in the test harness and not in curl,
so not too worrying, but I got no farther than that.

Tru64 failed on 1001 again today (it didn't yesterday and the day before)
Thanks for looking into this!
