I realize I _could_ get it and install it myself and do tests and what not,
but I relly rather spend my precious time doing something I enjoy more or at
least get paid for... I prefer YOU do that testing and debugging! ;-)

I don't have a work-around for the filezilla thing since I lean towards
suspecting that the problem is in the server end, although I can't say that
for sure.

There's a wide range of ftp-ssl capable free ftp servers, including pureftp,
proftpd, vsftpd, wzdftpd and others.
