Problem in opening https: sites

Hi All,
I am working with Curl and NSS curl/7.17.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
libcurl/7.17.1 OpenSSL/0.9.8b zlib/1.2.3
I am able to open https://mail.google.com.
But for any other https site, for eg: https://www.sbicard.com/sbi..
i am getting following error:
* successfully set certificate verify locations:
* CAfile: /usr/local/share/curl/curl-ca-bundle.crt
CApath: /etc/nss_db/
* Connected to port 8080 (#14)
* SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
error:1407E086:SSL routines:SSL2_SET_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed
I am using curl_multi_perform interface.
Can someone please help me out.
