OK. BTW, the reason this matters a little is that the Usage: message
says to run "nmake -f Makefile.vc6" which is patently wrong for vc8 and
might cause some people (like me!) trouble when they cut and paste the
line without noticing the incorrect digit.
This patch uses perl instead of sed; the script already relies on the
presence of perl.
