CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS solved my problem!
Now everything work fine!
I didn't use CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS before, so I don't know why was CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS zeroed out. :(

I did not set CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS and I got the same result, when I set CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS to a high number, like 1024.
Operation system: windows xp sp 2
Curl version: 7.16.2
Any idea?

This is very puzzling. You're not by any chance setting CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS to
zero?
