In general I agree with this line of thinking, but I've learned that sometimes
this approach backfires: if it allows people to too easily do wrong as then
they come asking, complaining and reporting bugs to us and we will have to
spend time to deal with it, over and over again.
So, I think it really is worth the effort to really consider this issue an
extra time before rushing ahead.
