But that's all the point - you don't have to understand almost anything
about the internal dsp format. You use a graphic tool (VisualStudio) for
editing it.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying ignorance is a bless, but sometimes all
you want is pressing a button and have the work done.
Of course, I'm using makefiles now and then (and I don't have much choice on
Solaris), but if it is possible, why not supply a simpler compilation method
for win32? It is also easier for my colleagues which are not familiar with
libcurl makefiles.

It is a part of the distribution package, so I assumed it is a part of CVS.
If it gets automatically generated, then I assume anything I do in it will
be worthless for you, and what you really need is changing its generator.
