The TFTP code is not adjusted to run fine with the multi interface so this is
unfortunately not a surprise to me.

I shouldn't crash, but it'll be hopelessly blocking when you use it - I mean
even when this particular bug gets fixed. I'll of course appreciate all help
to fix this situation.

I take it you use 7.16.0?
