my name is Sharon & I work with the same company as Alexander
Krasonavtzky (the guy who added 3rd party ftp to libCURL).

we (in my team) use CURL as a fundamental tool to ftp files , we base
our whole communication between applications on

this mechanism. It's a very convenient & easy-to-use lib .

the 3rd party ftp is actually the main-stream ftp mode we use. In
addition, I need to add a "post-quote" feature to the 3rd party ftp in
the libCURL.

Unfortunately, I spotted your add about the 3rd ftp removal too late.

Your decision to remove the 3rd party functionality was very surprising
and won't allow us to keep upgrading the libCurl .

Can you pls explain why you removed the 3rd party FTP (I will continue
to support it, instead of Alex). and pls let me know if the decision can
be undone.
