Hi Daniel,

Let me clarify this. I do not want you to replace Auto* stuff with CMake
stuff. At least not now. Right now I only want you to take my files and
put them into the repository. Also, maybe we should setup a logistic of
submitting patches.

My plan is this:

1. Setup a CMake files for curl and send them to you
2. Setup so that CMake can use external Curl by importing Curl source
into CMake (to make sure CMake files for Curl are always correct)
3. Setup so that CMake can use the system installed Curl
4. ...
5. Profit

(The last part is a joke)

I suspect at some point people that maintain Windows makefiles may be ok
with using CMake instead to generate binaries on Windows. This may (or
may not) cleanup Curl repository a bit.

So, how does that sound? Should I start working on CMake files for Curl?
