I have a couple of minor patches still in the queue, but it compiles and runs
for me with those. Unfortunately, I'm only able to test it with file: URLs
so far because I haven't yet found a machine with a compatible Ethernet
controller. I'm hesitant about checking them in until I'm able to at least
try it out on a network.
