i don't think this has anything to do with 'curl.h' since the error in
config.log is:
configure:10377: gcc -pipe -c ${CFLAGS_DEFAULT} ${CFLAGS_WARNING}
${SHLIB_CFLAGS} conftest.c >&5
gcc: ${CFLAGS_DEFAULT}: No such file or directory
gcc: ${CFLAGS_WARNING}: No such file or directory
gcc: ${SHLIB_CFLAGS}: No such file or directory
But I don't know why the configure scripts doesn't substitute the variables
instead of passing the names to gcc as if they were file names.
