Hi Dan. Thanks for your answer. I'm looking the transfer time only. I
know cURL has to do the establisment of the connection before starting
the transfer, but that is fast enough. (I have estimated it for my
application and it is insignificant in comparison with downloading time).

Have you have any ideas of how I can modify cURL speed? May I have to
change some parameters on the OS (Windows XP)?
