I tried Steve's binding several months ago. I had quite
a few problems getting it to compile/work (sorry, too long
ago to remember specifically), perhaps related to Steve's
binding being for a fairly ancient libcurl version (even
at the time I tested).

I haven't tried Alexander's binding.
