Thanks Jeff for your answer.

Unfortunately it's the SSLGet sample itself that chokes (the Get
sample works flawlessly). Should it be caused by some problems on my
environment (missing or wrong DLLs)? I will try with some other
binding (like pyCUrl for example), and see if it works)
