Hi folks
Might it be possible, that libCurl (without Ares) on a DNS record of
several IP addresses uses the second and later ones only as fallback if
the first refuses connection or such?
My application is run on many computers, uses libCurl without Ares and
connects only to a single host name which has two IP addesses as round
robin. Some instances of my application use a Proxy which definitely
connects to both IP addresses evenly spreaded. The Web server of the
first has about eight times the traffic of the Web server of the second
IP address.
If this is the case, would it be sensible to introduce an option
randomize the order of several IPs?
best regards
A Nonymous
