As mentioned before, I'm working on making libcurl capable of optionally using
GnuTLS (1.0.X or later) instead of OpenSSL for the secure layer.

The purpose would be to allow application authors to use the lib of their
choice. For example, most GPL licensed programs have issues with OpenSSL due
to their Original BSD-style license.

I just wanted to publish what the work looks like so far:
